PON technology
Turbo GEPON network refers to a type of Passive Optical Network (PON) based on Ethernet technology. It is one of the most effective and advanced “last mile” solutions which enables to significantly save on cable infrastructure and provide downlink transmission rates up to a 2.5 Gbps and 1.25 Gbps uplink rate. Turbo GEPON solution applications on access networks enable users to access to new services based on IP protocol along with standard telephone services.
